Bias - What it is? Inclination or prejudice against one person or group, especially in a way considered to be unfair. Crystal clear? Truthfully, bias is real, it's a legit discussion. But also truthfully, what is more important - who we are within. When we are in the situation when we are being biased, how we react will determine what will happen next. In any situation at anytime - our reactions matter. Six years ago, I used to run and hustle in male-dominated industry - the petroleum industry. I have seen series of events when women are being biased - true story. However, how the situations were handled made me think further. 💛 Some decided to be better, in fact the best in the industry - they rise above! 💛 Some decided to leave, to be the best in other things they do - they rise above! The pandemic has changed a lot of things around me (I believe yours too, in some way or another), which perhaps brought me here, writing. I have been told by many friends (since forever), I should start writing somewhere, blog or whatever that works for me. But I used to think, writing will take so much of my space.
